From "non-athlete to National Champion:
David played on championship rugby teams in both high school and university. Nonetheless, as a result of a traumatic childhood experience he still didn't see himself as an athlete. During his 30's he competed in triathlon, and then became a competitive water skier when he turned 40. Over the past 17 years he has won many awards, including twice winning the Canadian National Championships in his age group. He has broken numerous records, and recently was ranked #1 in the world in slalom ( for men over 55 years of age ) David shares candidly and authentically about the challenges he faced on his journey, and all he has discovered about nutrition, training, psychology, and above all else, what it takes to win.
